CUSTOM BOARDS AND ENGRAVINGS

Step 1 — Decide What Kind of Custom Order You Want

Before sending your request, decide which applies to you:

A. Custom Board (No Engraving)

You’d like a handmade cutting board or wood piece customized to your needs —

choose your wood type, size, features (curvy, charcuterie board, pizza peel, etc.), or even a new design entirely.

B. CNC Engraved Board

You’d like a board or piece with a custom engraving or inlay

such as names, verses, logos, or artwork carved into the wood.

Step 2 — Send an Email

Email me at daniel@evelnd.com with the subject line: Custom Order

Step 3 — Include These Details in Your Email

To help me understand your idea clearly, please include:

  • The wood type, size, and style of board you’d like made — this can be based on one of my existing designs or something completely new. (For Example: Live-edge Walnut cutting board (approx. 12×18×2”) with black metal handles.)

  • A sketch, image, or digital file of your design (PNG, JPG, or PDF work best).

If you’re unsure what to send, even a simple photo or written idea is fine — I’ll help translate it into a workable design.

  • Your preferred placement (corner, center, edge, etc.).

  • Any specific fonts, verses, or initials you want included.

If you’re ordering a custom board without engraving,

this is where your process ends — you’re all set to email me your idea.

You can get creative here too:

think curved serving boards, charcuterie layouts, bread boards, or entirely new designs.

I’m open to experimenting and building something that fits your home and style.

If you DO WANT a CNC engraving or inlay, continue to Step 4 below.

If you’re not sure about your design yet, just describe what you’re imagining — I’ll help with layout and proofing.

Step 4 — Design Preview & Quote

Once I receive your email, I’ll:
1. Review your request
2. Create a digital preview of your engraving design
3. Send you a quote and estimated timeline

Simple engraving (like initials or verses) usually adds $30–$50, while detailed logo or inlay work is quoted individually.

Step 5 — Approval & Payment

After you approve the design, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your project.
Once payment is received, I’ll begin the engraving and finishing process.

Step 6 — Creation & Delivery

Most custom boards are completed within 1–2 weeks, depending on design complexity.
You’ll receive an update with photos before shipping.

Helpful Notes

  • Clear, high-contrast images engrave best.

  • I can simplify or stylize designs to suit the wood grain.

  • For Scripture or text engravings, include the exact verse and translation.
